The Game Plan

We have lots of plans for this blog. Both Tori and myself know that if we don't schedule out what we're going to do, it will never get done (we sent vlogs back and forth for a while via YouTube... That didn't last long), so here's the plan:

On Monday, we will give you a look into our wardrobes.
This might include photos from one of our amateure photo shoots, or a post talking about where we got something in our closet.

On Tuesday, expect an update from Liz on how her style experiment is going.
Liz has decided to try out a different style once a week (Goth, Punk, Bohemian, etc.) to see what the general reaction is to each, and to see if she finds anything she would like to incorporate into her wardrobe. These posts will probably include a picture of the style she wore during that week, how people reacted to that style, and any other information about said style that she gets sidetracked talking about.

Wednesday is going to be a break day, or a day for random posts about things.
We might decide to talk about social media's influence on fashion, or Liz's sudden selfie addiction. Who knows!

On Thursday, expect a post about Tori's weekly fashion obsession.
Tori likes lots of things, and she's going to let you know about it!

Tori and I will compete against one another in a series of tasks on Fridays.
We might try to recreate a picture, or we might draw an idea form a hat and both have to come up with an outfit to fit the criteria. The possibilities are endless.

We'll give you guys the weekend to cool off, and then do it all again on Monday. See you then!

Hello there my name is Tori.

I have been wearing clothing since I was a baby. I learned how to embroider at the age of 5 and started sewing at the age of 6. I began to experiment with my style in middle school. To say the least, most of my old pictures are very cringe worthy. The earliest pictures of myself I can find date back to 7th grade when it all started.
I went through quite the emo/grunge? phase in middle school even dying my hair black right before school let out in 8th grade.(Sadly I cant find a photo of said black hair. I assure you it was a thing.)
In high school me and my friends from middle school split up and I joined the marching band, my style evolving further into more colorful pieces and girly of styles. though I don't think anything I wore really matched until my Jr. year of high school

sophomore year
L
Jr. year
Sr. year

I've evolved a lot both style wise and with my sense of self and though I may be no expert of fashion or whats the new trend, I think I've found a style niche that is all my own.

I'm just here because Liz (my bff) said so and added me to this blog. I will be posting sometimes on flashback Fridays and with any fun fixations I'm having on Thursdays.

Hi! My name is Liz

I really never thought I'd start a fashion blog, since I never really thought of myself as fashionable. I like dressing up in pretty things, sure, but my normal style is not necessarily what people expect from a 21 year old girl.

I spent almost all of middle and high school wearing jeans and t-shirts.
I didn't like my shoulders. I felt awkward wearing dresses. By the time I had graduated, I was sick of it! I just wanted to wear something exciting, and something I was comfortable in. So when I went away to college, I created a style over for myself.  It was no longer jeans and t-shirts for me, suddenly it was bow ties and blazers!

When I came back home, my manner of dress stayed much the same as it was at school. My style has broadened out over time, and I've started adding some feminine looks into my wardrobe. I wear dresses more now, and am comfortable showing off my shoulders. "Girly" things are fun!

I'm quite happy with the way I dress! Recently, though, I got it into my head that maybe it's time for a change. It all started with this feeling that nothing fit quite right. Not in the sense that everything is too big, or too small, but in  the sense that just nothing looked quite right. My first instinct was, of course, to post about it on Facebook.
Which led to a fun chain of comments about what I should do to solve this problem.
I had a good laugh thinking of me, someone who looks awkward wearing leather jackets, dressing in punk or grunge fashion. Then I got an idea.
Which is how I got to where I am now, talking to you all (thanks to the suggestion of a friend who suggested I blog about my experience)

I've had fun in my stylistic journey so far, and I'm excited and nervous to see where this stylistic experiment will take me. Hopefully it is fun and enlightening for all of us.
